Cracked: An Eggy Horror

Those cold, cruel fingers grasped the last remaining egg's fragile shell, lifting it from its cardboard nest. Their unforgiving grip made clear that the horror which it had seen befall all of the other eggs was now becoming it's own...
With a sickening smash, the little egg was violently slammed against the harsh corner of a kitchen worktop. Its thin shell was no match for the spear of an edge; it crumbled helplessly, exposing the soon punctured skin underneath. Oh lord, this was meant to be a 10 minute doodle but I got carried away D:

Christmas present for my amigo, and a test for watercolouring on SAI. Considering this is my first attempt at digital colouring in a year, I'm pretty fond of this method.

It makes more sense in the full text without the image! She followed RD's rainbow and then climbed into the box because she wanted to jump out and surprise them. No Pinkie abuse here :J
